Small Group Ministry
The Small Group Ministry is a vital part of building community at Resurrection. Our small groups are intentional face-to-face, regular gatherings of people in groups of various sizes to accomplish an agreed upon Christian purpose.
LENTEN SMALL GROUP
Explore prayer and God’s voice in our lives. Join us to kick-off this six-week study with a BBQ lunch on Sunday, February 19, 12:30 p.m. in the Gathering Room. New small groups will begin the study of Margaret Feinberg’s “The Sacred Echo” on Sunday, February 26 during Sunday School. The book will help us “recognize God's voice in our life and more confidently walk in the fullness of what God has in store for us.”
Ready for fun, fellowship, spiritual growth and deeper relationships? New Sunday groups are forming now and other groups meet at various times during the week. Contact Pastor Dave or Karen Boda. more>
Small Groups offer members and non-members an opportunity to deepen their relationships with Jesus. This ministry connects people in creative and meaningful ways so that we grow in community, deepen our personal spirituality, enrich our lives in fellowship and engage our world in service.
Education and Special Interest Small Groups include five to 12 people that meet regularly one to four times per month. Meetings typically begin with a devotion followed by a Bible study or topical discussion and conclude with prayer and sharing time.
For more information on how to get involved in an existing group or form a new one, contact Pastor Dave Helfrich at 770-953-1593 or Karen Boda at 770-971-3029.
