Please join us on Sunday, October 15, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. as we celebrate
the installation of Pastor Dave Helfrich as the Lutheran Church of the
Resurrection's Senior Pastor. A reception will follow the Installation
Service.

Please Join Us For Rally Day!
August 20, 2006 is LCR's Annual 'Rally Day'. As the school year begins,
Sunday School and other activities are kicked off in style. Today we will
feature one service only, at 10:00am, followed by an 'old-fashioned'
picnic. Don't miss it, Rally Day is always great fun!

Lutheran Church of the Resurrection Calls New Senior Pastor
This past weekend was an important one in the life of LCR. Saturday
evening saw a well attended 'Meet and Greet' with Pastor Dave Helfrich and his
wife Sharon and daughter Christen. Pastor Dave was selected after an
exhaustive search by our
Call Committee. A thought-filled Q&A session followed. On Sunday, a
special Congregational meeting was convened at 12:30pm, at which it was
unanimously voted to Call Pastor Dave Helfrich to be Senior Pastor at LCR.
Additionally, his compensation package was presented, discussed, and again
unanimously passed. Pastor Dave has 30 days to accept, but indicated that
he envisioned being in place at LCR as early as September 10. God bless
our Call Committee and council for all their hard work and this wonderful outcome.
We are excited to begin a new ministry with Pastor Dave and to have Sharon
and Christen as a part of our LCR family!

us Sunday evening, May 7, 2006 @ the Gathering Room. Potluck dinner and fellowship
begin at 5:30pm,
followed by some great music at 6:30pm. Bring a friend for an evening of
fellowship, entertainment and inspiration, as well as an encounter with
Jesus and the life he offers.
