Every 2 seconds someone in America needs a blood transfusion — cancer patients, accident victims, premature infants, and people with chronic diseases. Giving blood doesn't take much time, and each donation has the power to save as many as three lives.

Volunteer Opportunities

Blood Donors – Give a blood donation in February and/or October. Watch the Phoenix newsletter and Weekly for details.
Blood Drive Publicity – Contact other churches about the opportunity to give blood in the area and to man a donor sign¬up table in the weeks leading up to the Blood Drive.
Blood Drive Workers – Assist with signing in blood donors, monitoring donors in the canteen area, and handling set-up/take down of the Gathering Room space.
