Project Linus
Project Linus is a non-profit organization that distributes hand-made
blankets to seriously ill or traumatized children in hospitals, shelters,
or social service agencies. Project Linus accepts new, handmade, washable
blankets which are 24” square to 3’ by 5’ in size, of all styles,
including quilts, tied comforters, fleece blankets, crocheted or knitted
afghans, and receiving blankets in child-friendly colors.

Volunteer Opportunities
- Handicrafters – LCR volunteer “blanketeers” lovingly create
dozens of handmade blankets, quilts and afghans each year for children
in need of a sense of security, warmth and comfort. If you can knit,
crochet, sew or tie knots – or can teach someone how – get involved with
Project Linus.
